The Publication of this second volume presents a good opportunity to give a short summary of the work of the past two years. The collection contains a number of objects bearing inscriptions, French scholar Anne-Valerie Schweyer has deciphered the inscriptions on two articles, and others are now under way, for example on vases, bowls, etc. the regal inscriptions on one of a pair of decanters in the collection were published in 1999 by one of the authors of this book.
